XPENG’s Remarkable Growth in Early 2025
XPENG has kicked off 2025 with a bang, showcasing impressive sales figures that starkly contrast its performance from the previous year. In January 2025, the company recorded an astonishing increase of 238% in sales compared to January 2024.
Consistent High Performance and New Milestones
With a total of 30,350 vehicles delivered, January marks the third consecutive month where XPENG has surpassed the crucial threshold of 30,000 units sold. The XPENG MONA M03’s popularity continues to surge with over 15,000 units delivered for two months straight. Meanwhile, the freshly launched XPENG P7+ is making waves by achieving cumulative deliveries of over 20,000 just two months post-launch.
Advanced Driving Technology Adoption
Another notable achievement for XPENG is its semi-autonomous driving system‘s rapid adoption rates among users. By January 2025, an impressive 87% of monthly active users engaged with XNGP for urban driving—a significant market penetration rate that demonstrates strong consumer confidence and interest.
Innovations in Smart Driving
XPENG also rolled out its advanced software update – XOS version AI Tianji 5.5.0 – which introduced several cutting-edge smart driving features including ‘door-to-door’ ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) capabilities and the world’s first coach vehicle recognition system capable of bypassing obstacles on eligible roads throughout China. This enhancement provides drivers with a more integrated smart driving experience across various environments such as parking lots and city streets.
Though similar to Tesla’s Full Self Driving (FSD) system in many respects, direct comparisons are challenging due to ongoing developments in both systems and limited opportunities for users to experience them side by side.
