Samsung’s Upcoming Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro: A Look at the Latest Developments
In January, whispers emerged regarding Samsung’s plans to launch the Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro, featuring Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor. Recent findings indicate that a prototype of this tablet has been listed in the Geekbench database, confirming its performance capabilities.
The benchmark results validate that the device is indeed utilizing the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. The prototype tested was equipped with 6GB of RAM, although additional configuration options may be available upon release.
A New Addition to Samsung’s Galaxy Lineup
The Tab Active5 Pro is anticipated to join its non-Pro counterpart, the Tab Active5, which was unveiled earlier this year in January. This model carries the designation SM-X356B and will ship with Android 15 pre-installed along with One UI 7 customized interface.
Performance Metrics Revealed
The benchmark scores from Geekbench suggest solid performance for this upcoming tablet: it achieved a single-core score of 1,179 and a multi-core score of 3,378. Considering that its predecessor, the Tab Active4 Pro, launched back in August 2022, it appears timely for an upgrade in this line.
