Introducing LG Radio+: A New Era in Audio Streaming for Smart TVs
LG has unveiled its latest audio streaming platform, LG Radio+, which is designed specifically for the company’s smart TV lineup. This innovative service is ad-supported and brings together various podcast offerings alongside traditional radio broadcasts, facilitated through a collaboration with Radioline, an established leader in radio and audio content. In a remarkable launch, LG shared that users in the U.S. will have access to over 14,500 distinct channels while audiences in Korea can tune into more than 440 channels.
Diverse Content Tailored to Users’ Preferences
Listeners can enjoy a rich selection of popular podcasts from renowned sources including NPR, CNN Radio, Fox Radio, and The Joe Rogan Experience. Additionally, the platform will incorporate local radio stations along with podcasts native to Korea’s vibrant audio landscape. One of the standout features of the app is its “Featured” section that showcases trending music charts to keep users updated with popular tunes.
How to Access LG Radio+
If you wish to experience LG Radio+, ensure your smart TV operates on webOS version 6.0 or higher—this requirement allows seamless access through the LG Content Store. Furthermore, plans are already underway for integration into the ThinQ app set for release in 2025.
