Tech business coalition FutureDotNow is asking on authorities and companies to work collectively to assist shut the IT skills gap, marking the publication of a roadmap designed to give the UK inhabitants’s digital skills a lift.
The roadmap was created in tandem with the Digital Skills Council and descriptions the steps that authorities, enterprise and civil society should take to guarantee everybody has the digital skills wanted to take part on the planet’s more and more digitised economies.

Meanwhile, FutureDotNow chair Peter Estlin mentioned the productiveness and resiliency of the nation are in danger if the digital skills gap is just not urgently addressed.
“The gap in basic digital capability in the UK’s workforce is real and huge,” he mentioned. “It presents both risk and opportunity. It’s holding the nation back, affecting productivity and business resilience at a time when the economic outlook is challenging, and the nation is looking for answers. We need to take action now.”
