This Tuesday, ServiceNow revealed its acquisition of Moveworks alongside new features geared towards enhancing agent capabilities. Additionally, it made its orchestration platform publicly available while announcing future plans to weave in an enterprise search powered by AI agents.
Amit Zavery, Chief Product Officer at ServiceNow, expressed his enthusiasm about the opportunities present in AI infrastructure in an interview with VentureBeat. “We have many avenues to explore in this domain,” he elaborated. “This latest launch introduces several functionalities surrounding AI agents that are fundamental components of our platform—an area where we will enhance our investments going forward.”
Expansion of Pre-Built Agents
The company has enriched its repository of pre-configured AI agents by introducing new options such as a dedicated security operations (SecOps) agent, various autonomous change management agents, along with a network assessment and troubleshooting bot. Enhancements were also made to both the AI Agent Orchestrator and the AI Agent Studio; these upgrades include added functionalities now accessible to all users.
The SecOps agent aims to relieve teams from mundane tasks so they can concentrate on swiftly neutralizing genuine threats. The autonomous change management bots assist organizations by creating tailored implementation schedules and conducting tests autonomously. Meanwhile, the proactive network diagnostics agent identifies and resolves issues before they disrupt performance levels.
By automating numerous organizational functions through these new tools, Zavery noted that ServiceNow is witnessing emergent use cases that demonstrate significant value for their clientele—ultimately aiming for a transformation in how employees engage with technology within their work environment.

Zavery indicated that acquiring Moveworks enhances ServiceNow’s capability set significantly by enabling deeper integration of searching mechanisms powered by agents throughout enterprises—allowing employees effortless access to vital organizational information when needed.
