Introducing the Honor Magic7 RSR Porsche Edition: A Premium Smartphone Experience
The Honor Magic7 RSR Porsche Edition stands as the pinnacle of Honor’s smartphone lineup, offering a unique blend of high-end specifications found in the Magic7 Pro while boasting an elegant design inspired by Porsche. This model includes enhanced display durability and nuanced improvements to an already impressive camera system, complemented by a more capacious battery.
First Impressions of the Design
After attending the global launch event for the Magic7 series, we had our first look at both color options for the Magic7 RSR: Provence Purple and Agate Ash (Gray). Our initial observations are quite positive.
The device feels slightly heavier than its Pro counterpart, and like earlier Porsche design iterations, it features a prominent hexagonal camera layout with bold lines that pay homage to Porsche’s racing legacy. The sleek “Flyline” running down its rear accentuates its sporty aesthetic, echoing elements found in high-performance automobiles.

Robust Build Quality And Enhanced Grip
The rear side is crafted from glass incorporating Honor’s NanoCrystal Shield technology which significantly enhances resistance against scratches and drops. The matte finish improves grip considerably, making it comfortable to hold even sans a protective case.
An Upgraded Camera System
The smartphone sports an identical triple-camera configuration to that of the Magic 9Pro while featuring an enhanced f/f1.9 aperture on its 200MP periscope zoom lens—for improved light intake compared to f/f2.6 found in previous models. Additionally, a LiDAR sensor has been incorporated for optimal video stabilization during shoots.
This setup also retains elements from its direct predecessor: notable is the main 50MP sensor equipped with variable f/f1.4-f/f3; alongside it is another ultrawide 50MP lens that carries over from last year’s model.”
