The registration for the Swift Student Challenge 2025 is officially underway
Apple’s esteemed Swift Student Challenge has kicked off, inviting talented participants to compete for an incredible reward — a fully-funded three-day experience at Apple Park.
Competition Structure and Prizes
Similar to its previous iteration in 2024, Apple will select a total of 350 winners while highlighting 50 individuals as Distinguished Winners, honored for their “exceptional submissions.” These distinguished entries must showcase “exemplary levels of creativity, innovation, social impact, or inclusivity.”
Each of the victorious challengers will benefit from a one-year subscription to the Apple Developer Program and receive a complimentary voucher for the App Development with Swift certification examination alongside an exclusive gift from Apple.
For those labeled as Distinguished Winners, there are even greater rewards. This special group will enjoy an immersive three-day adventure at Apple’s Cupertino headquarters. This unique experience encompasses travel arrangements, accommodation facilities, interactions with Apple engineers, plus “an array of memorable activities.”
Who Can Participate?
There are specific eligibility criteria applicants must meet. Additionally, they must hold an active developer account and align with student status according to designated definitions.
The Creative Process
Apple urges aspiring developers to utilize its extensive learning tools to craft a dynamic interactive scene within an app playground that can deliver a three-minute engaging experience. Entries will be judged based on rigorous standards including excellence in execution, innovation level displayed, creativity showcased throughout their projects as well as social relevance and inclusive design principles.
