Acer took the opportunity to showcase its latest gaming laptops, the Helios Neo 16 AI and Helios Neo 18 AI, during a prominent Counter-Strike tournament in Katowice, Poland. These advanced machines feature cutting-edge specifications including up to the Intel Core Ultra 9 275H processor, a whopping 64GB of RAM, and expansive storage options reaching up to 2TB. Additionally, each laptop is powered by Nvidia’s new RTX 5070 Ti graphics card and features high-performance OLED screens.

These laptops incorporate Acer’s fifth-generation AeroBlade 3D cooling fans along with vector heat pipes and liquid metal thermal grease for improved thermal management of the system on a chip (SoC).

Focusing first on the Predator Helios Neo 18 AI model, it’s equipped with an impressive large display measuring at 18 inches. Users can choose between three WQXGA resolutions (2560×1600 pixels) and a WUXGA option (1920×1200 pixels). The flagship variant boasts a Mini LED panel capable of achieving an incredibly low response time of just 3 ms alongside an exhilarating refresh rate of up to 250Hz.
The robust hardware configurations on this model allow buyers to select between Intel’s Core Ultra i7-255Hx or i9-275HX processors paired with either RTX 5070 or upgraded RTX 5070 Ti GPUs. The launch timeline is exciting for gamers looking forward to these innovative devices: The Helios Neo 16 AI will be available across North America starting April priced from $1,900. It will subsequently reach European markets along with MENA regions come May beginning from €1,700. Meanwhile, customers can expect availability of the larger Helios Neo 18 AI commencing in May throughout North America starting from $2,200 followed by distribution into Europe and MENA regions in June commencing at €1,800.
