Eric Migicovsky, former CEO of Pebble, has shared his enthusiasm about crafting new smartwatches that echo the iconic design of the original Pebble.
While details about design and specifications remain confidential at this stage, Migicovsky informed TechCrunch that development is still in its nascent phase.

In a recent blog update from Migicovsky himself, he stressed that this new smartwatch project will not be rushed into production. He aims to meet high expectations by emphasizing features that resonate with what made Pebbles so well-loved initially.
The envisioned device will boast important functionalities such as an always-on screen that’s easy to read outdoors without backlighting; physical buttons for usability; a user-friendly interface; and enduring battery life. Essential features also include sleep tracking capabilities; pedometer functions; built-in calendar access; alarm settings; and real-time weather information—all crucial elements highlighted by Migicovsky.

An enthusiastic community has come together with ambitions of creating another iteration of the Pebble smartwatch independently from outside financial support. The evolution in manufacturing processes means that producing these devices through contracts with Chinese manufacturers has become more feasible compared to prior years.
