Upcoming Samsung Galaxy A Series Devices: A New Era of Fast Charging
The Samsung Galaxy A series has long been known for its solid performance, but it has notably lagged behind in charging technology. Previously, the maximum charging speed offered was limited to 25W. However, this is about to change with the anticipated launch of the Galaxy A56 later this year, which will include support for rapid 45W wired charging—a feature that was announced back in November.
Software and Release Timeline
The upcoming devices are expected to debut with Android 15 operating system enhanced by One UI 7 interface. Given that the flagship Galaxy S25 will be among the first devices to utilize this latest software version, it’s likely we won’t see these new models hit stores before February.
Hardware Specifications: Exynos vs. Snapdragon
In terms of hardware specs, the Galaxy A56 is set to feature Samsung’s proprietary Exynos 1580 processor, providing users with robust performance capabilities. Conversely, its sibling model—the Galaxy A36—will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, ensuring a competitive gaming and multitasking experience.
