‘Ted Lasso’ star Nick Mohammed teases fans⁤ about the show’s likely return.

Hints are steadily‌ surfacing⁤ that the beloved Apple TV+ series “Ted‌ Lasso” is gearing up for a ⁣fourth season.

The most recent clue has emerged from actor Nick Mohammed, who portrayed assistant⁤ coach Nate ‍Shelley in the acclaimed series. On January 16th, he shared a ⁣video ⁢on X.com revealing that several dates ⁣for his upcoming UK tour will be rearranged due to unspecified “filming commitments.”

Mohammed had planned to commence his show “Show Pony,” a comedic production infused with music and magic reminiscent of ‘a comedy that goes wrong,’ in April.

In character as the ⁤quirky Mr. Swallow, ⁤he explains in a brief clip that these changes are necessary because of “some filming I can’t adjust.”⁣ Although he refrains from specifying what he’s filming, viewers can spot part of a “Believe”⁢ sign towards the video’s conclusion, hinting strongly ⁤at Ted Lasso’s continuation.

Since its premiere, “Ted Lasso” has been an emblematic success for Apple⁢ TV+, marking its rise after the surprising Oscar win for its debut movie, Coda. The third season wrapped up‌ with lead character Ted (Jason Sudeikis)⁤ deciding to leave and return ‌home to Kansas—a finale praised universally⁢ as heartwarming and impactful.

From Whispers to Industry Acknowledgment

One of the earliest credible indicators regarding a potential fourth season surfaced when Apple’s CEO⁣ Tim Cook made remarks signaling hope‌ for ‍its continuation.⁢ Actor⁣ Jeremy Swift (who takes on Leslie Higgins) recounted this encouraging exchange ⁣with Cook during discussions about future projects.

New Developments and Speculations

In August ⁢2024,‍ reports indicated Warner Brothers was⁤ pursuing options involving⁣ actors Hannah Waddingham (Rebecca), ‍Swift, and Brett Goldstein (Roy Kent). ⁣It ‍remains⁣ unclear whether Jason⁤ Sudeikis has been approached; however, past statements suggest he was content with ⁤how things concluded.

By October 2024, industry insider ‌Sigmund ‌Judge tweeted updates confirming pre-production plans were set for January concerning “Ted Lasso,” further ‌implying progress within project development as evidenced⁣ by Mohamed’s rescheduling announcement—suggesting pre-production may indeed be ongoing along‍ with contract formalities being signed off now.His tweet read:

Exclusive:
#TedLasso S4 is projected to begin pre-production in January! Reliable sources indicate that we can ⁣anticipate a new installment next year while shooting operations kickstart in London during early 2025!

Shooting Plans Forming?

Shortly thereafter,, there⁢ was confirmation listed on Film & Television ‌Industry Alliance’s‍ Production List mentioning‍ “Ted Lasso (Season Four). Filming regions reported include locations across⁣ London along additional sites unspecified within ‌America although casting details remain ‌undisclosed.
