Introducing the Exclusive Huawei Mate XT Ultimate with 18k Gold Build
In September, Caviar, renowned for crafting bespoke luxury gadgets, revealed its custom versions of the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate. Among these were the Black Dragon and Gold Dragon editions, featuring a lavish coating of 24-karat gold. Recently, Caviar has taken opulence a step further with an additional unique release of the Mate XT Ultimate that boasts an exquisite body made from 18-karat gold.
Huawei Mate XT Ultimate showcasing its luxurious 18k gold exterior
This latest offering closely resembles the previously released Gold Dragon model but carries a substantial weight of approximately one kilogram. Priced at over $100,000 (€95,890 / INR8,539,350), this exquisite device is advertised as an exclusive limited edition crafted specifically for affluent clients in the United States; consequently, it does not feature on Caviar’s online offerings.
The Evolving Price Range of Luxury Models
The initial model draped in 24-karat gold was introduced at a baseline cost of $14,500 (€13,905 / INR1,238,205). However, its price has subsequently risen to about $17,340 (€16,630 / INR1,480,725). Interestingly enough—owing to cultural significance—Caviar plans to produce only 88 units since this number holds auspicious value within Chinese traditions.
A Closer Look at Standard Offerings
The regular version of the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate exhibits a lighter frame weighing around 300 grams and starts from CNY19.999 ($2.740 / €2.630 / INR233.925). Currently available exclusively in China due to market strategies and demand factors; however street rumors indicate that international availability may commence by Q1 of 2025.
