It doesn’t matter how smart technology gets in an all-digital world — you’re still going to need to fax something at some point. Here’s how to fax from iPhone with the Municorn Fax app.

That said, it is inevitable that you’ll have to send a fax from time to time. However, that’s why online fax services exist.

Instead of leaving your home or buying a new device, you can rely on the technology you already have — your iPhone. Just download the Municorn fax app for iPhone, then send scanned documents or downloaded ones.

Smartphone interface shows options for scanning or uploading documents, including DOC, PDF, and PNG file types. Features: scan documents, photo library, other apps, and iCloud.

Even if you work in a field that constantly sends faxes, there’s no need for a dedicated machine. The iPhone’s camera is great at capturing documents in PDF form to share via the Municorn app.

There are a few reasons why you might encounter a need to fax online today. Doctors rely on them for patient files, real estate agents use them to get physical signatures instead of digital ones, and government offices use them for personnel document transfers.

If you’re having to send a fax, there’s a good chance you’ll also have to receive one too. The Municorn Fax app can give you a fax number for receiving incoming faxes.

Going to a retail location to fax something is time-consuming and expensive. You’ll pay $2 to send a fax on average, whereas the Municorn Fax app has a flat subscription fee for unlimited faxes.

Users can save recipient’s fax numbers as contacts and access files you’ve sent previously. Customize cover sheets, access files from cloud storage like Google Drive or iCloud, and combine separate documents into one file and send them in one fax.

Open the Municorn Fax app.
Enter the recipient’s number in the bar at the top, or select from Contacts by tapping the head-in-a-circle icon.
Add a cover page if desired by tapping the “Add Cover page” button. Enter the desired sender name, number, and message, then tap “Done.”
Tap “Add image or document” then pick to either scan documents, choose from the Photo Library, open a file from another app, or open the Apple Files app via iCloud.
Once you’ve selected the desired files to fax, tap “SEND.”
Use the “Sent” tab to view the status of a sent fax, view previously sent faxes, or start a new fax using a previously used number.

Get the Municorn Fax app for iPhone from Apple’s App Store. It’s free to download, but has a subscription for unlimited faxing.

Users can download the app for free, manage documents, and send one free fax. After that, a paid account is required.

One week is $9.99, one month is $29.99, and one year is $249.99. The annual rate is a 52% discount over paying weekly.
