MediaTek Set to Unveil Dimensity 9400+ This Quarter
Recent insights from leaker Digital Chat Station indicate that MediaTek may roll out the Dimensity 9400+ as early as this quarter. This upcoming chip is anticipated to feature an overclocked CPU, paving the way for a new wave of mobile devices powered by this technology shortly thereafter.
Anticipated New Smartphone Models
According to Digital Chat Station, we can expect two distinct smartphone models featuring flat panels rather than 2.5D designs—a “compact flat screen with a periscope camera“ and a “larger camera-focused device.” While specific names are still under wraps, speculations arise regarding whether these devices include vivo X200S and Oppo Find X8S.
An Early Introduction for the Plus Variant
MediaTek generally reveals its Plus variant chipset towards the end of each year, but it seems that the Dimensity 9400+ will be an exception with its early launch. Manufacturers are anticipated to adopt this new version swiftly. The standard Dimensity 9400’s most powerful Cortex-X925 core operates at a clock speed of 3.63 GHz; however, the Plus model is predicted to achieve frequencies up to 3.7 GHz.
