The Upcoming iQOO Z9 Turbo Endurance: A Battery Powerhouse
Launched in April, the iQOO Z9 Turbo featured a robust 6,000 mAh battery alongside OriginOS 4 built on Android 14. Vivo’s sub-brand is now set to introduce an advanced variant with enhanced battery capacity and upgraded software capabilities.
Introducing the iQOO Z9 Turbo Endurance
Named the iQOO Z9 Turbo Endurance, this new iteration is anticipated to supersede the existing Z9 Turbo in retail outlets. The official unveiling of this model is scheduled for January 3, 2025.
User Experience Upgrades
This latest smartphone will be introduced in a striking deep Blue shade. Remarkably, despite boosting its battery capacity to an impressive 6,400 mAh, it will maintain its weight at just 196 grams; this feat is achievable due to the implementation of energy-efficient Si/C materials similar to those used in the iQOO Z9 Turbo+.
The device will also run on OriginOS 5 and feature dual-frequency GPS support. This advancement allows connectivity with both L1 and L5 satellites for superior precision in location tracking.
A Glance at Specifications
In terms of hardware specifications, key components from its predecessor remain intact: equipped with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and boasting a vibrant 6.78” AMOLED display featuring a rapid refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. Camera-wise, it retains a dual setup with relatively modest specs—a combination of a 50 MP primary sensor coupled with an additional 8 MP shooter situated on the rear panel.
Pricing Information
The anticipated pricing structure for this latest model is expected to echo that of its predecessor; when originally launched in April, it retailed at CNY 1,999 (approximately $275) for configurations boasting memory options of up to 12 GB RAM paired with a storage option of up to256 GB.
