On January 3, Huawei is set to introduce its latest mid-range smartphone, the Enjoy 70X, as confirmed by the company. The device’s design draws inspiration from the Mate series, featuring a distinctive circular camera housing as seen in the teaser image below.

The model number for this device is BRE-AL80. It runs on Huawei’s Kirin 8000A SoC, which includes a hexa-core processor configuration featuring three high-performance Cortex-A77 cores operating up to speeds of 2.19 GHz alongside three energy-efficient Cortex-A55 cores at up to 1.4 GHz. For graphical tasks, it incorporates a Mali-G610 GPU capable of running at frequencies up to 864 MHz.
Display and Camera Features
The device operates using HarmonyOS version 4.2 and will be available in colors such as white and cyan. It boasts an impressive 6.78-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1224×2700 pixels, offering a fluid experience thanks to its refresh rate of 120 Hz and peak brightness reaching up to an astonishingly bright level of approximately 1,200 nits paired with high-frequency PWM dimming calibrated at around 2160 Hz.
On its rear side, users can find a robust dual-camera setup consisting of a primary lens with an impressive resolution of 50 MP along with a secondary 2 MP depth sensor geared toward enhancing portrait photography capabilities.

Rumors indicate that this smartphone will house a substantial battery capacity estimated at around 6,100 mAh while supporting rapid charging speeds through its capability for fast wired charging rated at 40W. With specifications indicating that it measures only about 7.98 mm thick while weighing just under 189 grams, it promises both convenience and portability.
