The Anticipated Global Launch of Xiaomi’s 15 Ultra
Xiaomi is set to unveil its latest flagship, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, to a worldwide audience—much like it did with the previous model. An executive has confirmed that the official announcement could occur as soon as next month. In anticipation of this event, we now have our first glimpse of the device through a live hands-on image.
A leaker on X recently shared an image that purportedly showcases the rear design of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra in striking detail.
Redesigned Camera Module and Aesthetic Enhancements
Similar to its predecessor, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, this upcoming model features an expansive camera module; however, there are distinct changes regarding sensor placement and design elements. Notably, unlike its forerunner’s curvaceous frame that blended seamlessly into its rear panel, this version appears more aligned with contemporary smartphone designs from various manufacturers.
The camera island intriguingly boasts a striking red accent surrounding it. Additionally, it’s presented in a sophisticated black finish punctuated by textured glass that may exhibit scintillating effects under certain lighting conditions.
Impressive Camera Specifications and Performance Features
Rumors suggest that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will feature an impressive array of cameras: a remarkable 200 MP periscope telephoto lens alongside another telephoto option at 50 MP tailored for short-range captures. It will also incorporate a primary camera with a one-inch Sony Lytia LYT-900 sensor and an ultrawide lens at 50 MP utilizing Samsung’s ISOCELL JN5 technology. Under the hood, users can expect top-tier performance powered by Snapdragon’s cutting-edge Elite SoC. The device is anticipated to run on Android 15 complemented by Xiaomi’s own HyperOS 2 framework.
This powerhouse smartphone is projected to house a robust battery capacity of up to 6,000 mAh while supporting ultra-fast charging technologies—90W wired charging capability alongside swift wireless charging options at up to 50W.
