Samsung Initiates One UI 7 Beta Launch for Galaxy S23 Series
This week, Samsung announced the commencement of its One UI 7 Beta rollout for selected older devices, beginning with users located in India, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The first to receive this update were the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 models (preceded by the S24 series), followed by the much-anticipated beta version for the Galaxy S23 lineup.

The Samsung community forums have been buzzing with excitement as users share glimpses of their update notifications. This particular beta release is applicable to models including the Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra. However, it’s important to note that owners of the Galaxy S23 FE are not included in this rollout. Additionally, this version is specifically designated for unlocked handsets only.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 series—including both Plus and Ultra variations—is currently undergoing updates to incorporate One UI 7 Beta in several regions.
Beta Version Details
This substantial update carries a size of approximately 4.7GB. It upgrades Android to version 15 while elevating One UI to version 7.0 and includes a security patch dated March 1st. For those interested in testing out this early build, registration can be initiated via the Samsung Members application.
Availability Timeline
To gain access to this beta release, users must reside within one of the designated testing regions—feedback indicates successful updates across India, South Korea, UK territories as well as American soil. A stable version launch is anticipated around April.
