Unveiling the Oppo Find N5: A New Era in Foldable Smartphones
Scheduled for launch on February 20, the Oppo Find N5 is poised to redefine standards in the foldable smartphone market with its slim design and featherlight build. Certification by China’s TENAA regulatory body has unveiled a host of information regarding its specifications.
Display Features and Design Insights
The certification details highlight the device’s dual-screen configuration, showcasing a main display that spans 8.12 inches diagonally and an outer screen measuring 6.62 inches—both larger than those found in its predecessor, the Find N3.
Camera Capabilities and Performance
Equipped with three primary cameras on its rear, the Oppo Find N5 features two units with 50 MP sensors accompanied by an additional 8 MP sensor. Although this may appear as a reduction compared to the previous model’s combination of two 48 MP sensors alongside a single 64 MP camera, it’s essential to consider sensor dimensions before making any judgments about actual performance.
The smartphone comprises dual front-facing cameras perched on both screens—each offering an 8 MP resolution—a decrease from last year’s offerings of a robust 32 MP camera on one side and a notable 20 MP on the other.
Powerful Performance Metrics
The device houses Snapdragon’s cutting-edge Elite chipset featuring a bespoke seven-core CPU architecture under model number PKH120. The RAM options will range between either an impressive 12 GB or up to an astonishingly robust 16 GB—the available storage configurations will include choices of 256 GB, 512 GB, or even expansive single terabyte (1 TB) capacity!
A Glimpse into Upcoming Launch Details
A definitive unveiling of specific combinations for RAM and storage will take place during next week’s launch event where pricing details are also set to be disclosed.
