Dubbed Baldur’s Gate 3 – Mobile Turuk and allegedly developed by “Dmytro Turuk,” this scam application poses as an authentic offering. Its description misleads players into thinking they can create characters or utilize pre-existing “Origin” characters featuring their own story arcs and motivations.
In an effort to convince users of its authenticity, the counterfeit app showcases official screenshots from Baldur’s Gate 3 while overlaying a fabricated mobile interface designed for interaction.
For those who fall into its trap, downloading is free initially; however, users are soon confronted with a screen prompting them for a subscription fee. This exorbitant charge—$29.99 for just one month—claims to grant access to the full game but ultimately delivers nothing substantial.
Worse still, the app’s terms indicate collection of personal data from users—including their IP addresses.
