According to market analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple is expected to unveil its inaugural foldable iPhone by late 2026 or early 2027. This innovative device is rumored to adopt a book-like form factor and will likely bear a premium price exceeding $2,000. In his recent report, Kuo shares insights on the expected features of this groundbreaking phone.
Design Dimensions and Build Quality
Kuo forecasts that the foldable iPhone will have a thickness ranging from approximately 9 to 9.5 mm when closed and between 4.5 and 4.8 mm when opened up for use. The device is set to boast a robust titanium alloy body complemented by a hinge made from both stainless steel and titanium alloys for enhanced durability.
