Introducing the Enhanced Razer Blade 18: A Gaming Powerhouse
Razer has unveiled an upgraded version of its highly acclaimed Blade 18 gaming laptop, now equipped with the cutting-edge Intel Core Ultra 200HX series processors. Gamers can enhance their experience further by opting for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 GPU.
Impressive Display Features
The new model boasts a massive screen that Razer proudly labels as “the world’s first 18-inch dual mode display.” This innovative feature allows users to toggle seamlessly between UHD+ at a refresh rate of 240Hz for experiencing minute details in AAA games and FHD+ at an astonishing 440Hz for enhanced speed during fast-paced action.
Revamped Keyboard Design
The keyboard has undergone significant redesign, featuring a new scissor switch mechanism that offers an increased travel distance of up to 35% compared to earlier models. The actuation force is set at a comfortable 63g. Additionally, it includes a full-size numeric keypad and individual dual-LED backlighting for every key, while maintaining much of the aesthetics inherited from its predecessor released in early 2023.
Superior Connectivity Options
Razer emphasizes “desktop-level connectivity” with this model, incorporating two Thunderbolt ports including support for Thunderbolt 5. Users will enjoy high-speed internet access via Wi-Fi 7 and HDMI compatibility through HDMI 2.1. Additionally, Bluetooth version 5.4 and Gigabit LAN are supported as well. Each Blade 18 features an impressive six-speaker virtual surround sound system compatible with THX Spatial Audio technology along with a high-quality privacy-focused camera boasting a resolution of five megapixels.
Pre-orders Now Open for Razer Blade 16
The company has also initiated pre-orders for the smaller yet powerful Razer Blade 16 laptop variant, which is ultra-slim and starts at $2,800—marking a $100 increase over its previous iteration.
