He revealed it was influenced by an entertaining naval tradition his father experienced: “Back in the 1970s—before cell phones were commonplace—workers would keep ledgers during their shifts where they crafted stories together over time.” He explained how workers would take turns adding lines to this communal tale as fresh colleagues took over shifts until eventually these sprawling narratives gained popularity enough for crew leaders to share them aloud during weekly meetings.

Currently featuring two primary storytelling genres—Horror inspired by Lovecraftian classics and swashbuckling antics within Pirate Adventure—the developers aim at diversifying content even further according to feedback gathered from players post-demo launch.
