Upcoming Launch of the Honor Pad X9a: A New Low-End Tablet on the Horizon
Honor is in the process of developing a new model to succeed its budget-friendly tablet, the Pad X8a, which made its debut in August. This new iteration is expected to be named the Honor Pad X9a and has recently received certification for sale in the UAE by TDRA.
Global Availability Expected
The anticipation surrounding this device suggests that it will likely be available across various international markets beyond just the UAE. Additionally, TDRA has also certified another upcoming model known as the Honor Pad V9. The version of X9a that cleared TDRA’s certification process is Wi-Fi-only and carries the model designation ELN2-W29.
Specifications Yet to Be Disclosed
While specific technical specifications have not been mentioned following its certification, it is reasonable to anticipate that this tablet will not fall into the high-end category. For context, it’s worth noting that its predecessor, the Pad X8a, features an 11-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1200×1920 pixels and supports a smooth 90 Hz refresh rate. Powering this device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 processor, complemented by 4GB of RAM and options for storage at either 64GB or 128GB. It also includes dual cameras (5 MP each) – one positioned on both front and back – alongside a robust battery capacity of 8,300 mAh.
