The Gravity Series 1150 runs larger than its predecessor, the Gravity Series 600, boasting an impressive cooking area of 1,150 square inches. This significant increase nearly doubles your grilling capacity while enabling longer cooking sessions that can last up to 15 hours. The hopper on this grill is designed to accommodate either up to 12 pounds of lump charcoal or as much as 18 pounds of briquettes.
Innovative Design Features
This grill derives its name from its unique gravity-fed hopper system, which allows charcoal to seamlessly fall into place for lighting during grilling sessions. A digital fan controls temperature regulation autonomously and can be adjusted through onboard settings or via the dedicated Masterbuilt application on your mobile device. Unlike last year’s model XT where controls were on the shelf side, in this iteration they have been strategically moved front and center for convenient access.
A Modern Touch with Storage Solutions
An important distinction between the Gravity Series 1150 and its predecessor is evident in its structural design; rather than employing a cart-style stand like earlier models, it features an enclosed cabinet designed for improved storage capacity. Delivering remarkable versatility with a temperature range spanning from a low of 225 degrees Fahrenheit all the way up to sizzling hot at approximately 700 degrees Fahrenheit means you can easily switch between slow smoking techniques or high-temperature searing.
