Samsung Set to Unveil Four Galaxy S25 Smartphones, Introducing the Galaxy S25 Slim
Rumors are swirling that Samsung plans to showcase not three, but four variants of the Galaxy S25 series at this year’s inaugural Unpacked event. New on the list is a model called the “Galaxy S25 Slim,” intended to bridge the gap in pricing between the standard S25+ and its premium counterpart, the S25 Ultra.
The Essence of Slimness
Distinct from its bigger siblings in design elements, details about the Galaxy S25 Slim remain scarce, as it has yet to surface in leaked images. What we do know is that Samsung might leverage this model’s design as a foundation for future iterations in next year’s S26 lineup.
The standout feature of this device will be its remarkably slim profile, measuring approximately 6.5mm thick—a notable feat considering most smartphones today average between 8 and 9mm.
Premium Specifications Await
The Galaxy S25 Slim promises high-end performance typical of Samsung’s flagship range and is expected to be priced closely alongside the Ultra variant.
This device is anticipated to feature a display measuring 6.66 inches diagonally, identical to that found on the C series Plus variant while being powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
While battery capacity details remain murky at present, indications suggest it could range from around 4,700mAh up to 5,000mAh—impressive given its ultra-thin construction.
A Camera System Fit for an Ultra Model
A noteworthy aspect of the slimmer device will be its “Ultra”-level camera arrangement—drawing primarily from what we expect with features also available on models like the Ultra version. Recent leaks have provided detailed insights into these camera specs rather than leaving us guessing.
The primary sensor is likely set at an impressive level with a potential resolution reaching up to 200MP ISOCELL HP5 sensor sourced from previous Ultra models. This sensor could come in sizes varying between 1/1.56” or potentially resemble dimensions closer to that found on HP2 with size adjustments approaching roughly 1/1.3”. Notably enough—the HP5 remains officially unannounced thus far.
Additionally, both ultrawide and telephoto functionalities are reportedly anticipated via Samsung’s advanced technologies utilizing a dual-purpose twin lens configuration featuring their innovative All Lenses on Prism (ALoP) technology within more compact conditions—which aligns perfectly due not just space optimization but improves overall imaging capabilities too!
