Apple Card Provides Financial Relief Amid LA Wildfires
In a recent initiative, Apple has reached out to users of the Apple Card who have been affected by the wildfires in Los Angeles, informing them that they can delay their due payments without incurring interest costs.
This notification specifically targets customers residing in areas designated as apple-card-users-affected-by-la-fires-can-now-postpone-payments/” title=”Apple Card Users Affected by LA Fires Can Now Postpone Payments”>disaster zones by FEMA. To take advantage of this offer, impacted individuals need to enroll in the Disaster Relief Program.
No Penalties for Delayed Payments
The relief measures apply exclusively to those who live within the federally recognized disaster zone. It is recommended that users familiarize themselves with FEMA’s services if they are not already registered.

Benefits Offered Under the Disaster Relief Program
The following advantages await participants of this program:
- You may skip your scheduled payment for the month you join.
- No interest will accrue during your enrollment month; however, standard purchase APR will apply thereafter.
- If your account is currently in good standing, it will remain so while you’re enrolled in this program.
- If there were any overdue payments before enrolling, those amounts won’t become more delinquent until all past dues are cleared up.
- Any spending limits imposed on your account may continue while you receive these benefits.
Steps to Enroll in the Disaster Relief Program
If you wish to participate in this assistance program, simply reach out to Apple Card Support through the Messages app on your iPhone. You also have options available through Wallet if you want to cancel upcoming autopayments or if further assistance is needed via contacting Apple support directly.
This isn’t Apple’s first rodeo when it comes to offering such provisional support; similar measures have been taken before for customers impacted by various natural disasters across different regions.
