LG Unveils Innovative Indoor Gardening Lamp at CES 2025
At the upcoming CES 2025, LG is set to showcase a groundbreaking lamp that also serves as a compact garden. This “indoor gardening device” caters primarily to city residents and those lacking outdoor space, providing an opportunity to cultivate fresh produce right at home.
The lamp features a circular shade equipped with LEDs that emit light in five varying intensities during the day, promoting optimal plant growth. Once evening falls, these lights transform into soothing ambient lighting, enhancing the atmosphere of any room where it’s placed. For those seeking a more intimate setup, LG has also developed a version akin to the size of a side table—perfect for smaller spaces.

The taller iteration of this lamp can accommodate up to 20 individual plants simultaneously and boasts adjustable height features suitable for larger leafy greens or petite herbs and flowers alike. A standout attribute of this design is its built-in 1.5-gallon water reservoir located in the base; it delivers just the right amount of hydration needed for each plant without requiring constant attention from the user. Furthermore, both versions sync seamlessly with LG’s ThinQ app for convenient remote management of lighting and watering routines.
This isn’t LG’s first venture into indoor gardening technology; they previously unveiled the LG Tiiun at CES 2022—a larger appliance shaped like a refrigerator that could similarly automate growing and watering processes but lacked aesthetic appeal compared to this sleek new design. With all these functionalities packed into one unit, it seems only one additional feature—a smart speaker integration like Sonos—could elevate it further as an everyday essential in home decor until new innovations emerge within household lighting solutions.
As of now, there hasn’t been any announcement regarding pricing or release dates for this innovative indoor gardening lamp; however, further details are anticipated following CES 2025.
