In recent developments, it has come to light ⁣that Google has ⁤reportedly advised its ⁣contract evaluators involved with the Gemini project to‍ engage with all prompts, irrespective of their level of expertise. This information was disclosed by TechCrunch,‍ citing internal directives it managed to access.

Contractors are ‍now purportedly required to address prompts necessitating “specialized domain‌ knowledge” and evaluate⁢ only those sections⁣ they comprehend, while⁤ also‍ indicating areas where they lack proficiency. The current policy allows contractors to bypass a prompt solely if significant portions of ⁢it are absent or ‌if the ⁢content is deemed harmful.

In ‌response, Google released a statement to Engadget asserting‌ that‌ their raters undertake‌ diverse ⁣responsibilities across various Google platforms. They are tasked not only with assessing the substance of answers but also contributing insights on presentation style, format,‍ and numerous other elements.
