Despite the fact that Samsung has yet to unveil the Galaxy S25 lineup, speculation about its successor, the Galaxy S26 series, is already heating up. Expected to launch around January 2026, recent whispers from industry insiders on social media suggest a bold shift towards incorporating Exynos processors within this upcoming line.
This potential pivot follows challenges experienced with the S25 models that were reportedly supposed to feature the Exynos 2500 chip. Due to production difficulties affecting yield rates, it appears that most variations of the S25 will instead rely on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. With improved yield issues in recent days, it’s anticipated that Samsung might reserve the Exynos 2500 for their future foldable devices such as the Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z Flip FE.
