YouTube Music podcasts support starts rolling out internationally

After launching in late April for US customers, YouTube Music is beginning to roll out worldwide support for podcasts.

In the Home tab, you’ll see “Podcasts” be part of the opposite 5 temper filters. This hundreds a devoted feed with carousels like Keep listening, Recommend episodes, and Your reveals, in addition to numerous classes: Gaming, True Crime, Political Commentary and so forth. You’ll get related strategies in Explore.

Podcasts joins the high-level filter for Playlists, Songs, Albums, and Artists within the Library tab. There’s an Auto playlist for “New Episodes” out of your reveals and beforehand saved “Episodes for Later.” Subscribed podcasts will seem in your Library like different songs, albums, playlists, and artists. 

The Now Playing display screen gives 10-second rewind and 30-second ahead together with playback velocity and sleep timer. Show “Details” substitute Lyrics on the backside.

Show pages are much like albums and playlists with art work and an inventory of episodes, in addition to publish date and playback standing. Tap to see the complete description with the power to “Save episode for later” utilizing the bookmark button and obtain.

Offline playback and background play is on the market with no YouTube Premium subscription. All customers will “experience host-read endorsements or sponsorship messages when listening to podcasts.” 

Only podcasts/channels which have uploaded video variations of episodes can be found in YouTube Music. As such, the choice could be restricted with RSS feeds not at present supported.

As of Thursday, we’re seeing podcast studies from YouTube Music customers Brazil and Canada with native language support.
