Exciting Launches from Tecno at MWC 2025
The Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 has kicked off, showcasing a range of innovative hardware from various tech brands. Among the highlights, Tecno has unveiled its latest offerings, including the Camon 40 series smartphones. While comprehensive specifications remain under wraps for now, initial teasers suggest these devices will be powered by Mediatek chipsets and equipped with Circle to Search capabilities.
A Closer Look at New Hardware
In addition to smartphones, Tecno introduced a lineup of laptops: the Megabook S14, Megabook K15S, and Megabook T14 Air. The company also presented an intriguing wearable device named Watch GT1 and announced the True 2 true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds.
Innovative Features in the Camon 40 Series
The upcoming Camon 40 series is set to integrate various AI-driven functionalities within its software package called Tecno AI. This suite includes features such as AI Image Creation and an intelligent Call Assistant alongside the proprietary Ella AI assistant. Additionally, these devices will boast water and dust resistance for increased durability. A more detailed announcement is anticipated on Day Two of MWC in Barcelona.
A standout model within this series is expected to be the Camon 40 Premier, which is said to feature a remarkable 50 MP camera — notably shared with Tecno’s new AI glasses.
Laptops Designed for Performance
Tecno’s new laptops are designed with performance in mind. The Megabook S14 claims to be one of the lightest in its category at just 899 grams while offering a stunning OLED display with a resolution of up to 2.8K. The Megabook T14 Air follows closely at only 999 grams; it combines portability with a sturdy magnesium alloy body.
Meanwhile, featuring fast-charging technology is the ultra-thin all-metal Megabook K15S equipped with a powerful battery capacity of up to 70Wh designed for high productivity.
Wearable Tech Built for Health Tracking
The Watch GT1 positions itself as an ideal health companion; touted by Tecno as an ‘AI wrist assistant’ tailored for fitness aficionados seeking meticulous health monitoring.
On another note, True Wireless Stereo enthusiasts will appreciate True 2 earbuds that deliver impressive noise cancellation capabilities reaching up to -45 dB along with endurance boasting up to over two days on battery life.
