Lenovo Unveils Innovative Laptops with Generative AI Capabilities at MWC 2023
Introducing the Yoga Pro 9i Aura Edition
This year at Mobile World Congress (MWC), Lenovo has unveiled its latest laptops incorporating generative AI elements, including the impressive Yoga Pro 9i Aura edition. This unique iteration is a result of collaboration with Intel, aimed at delivering “a range of distinct software, hardware, and AI functionalities,” enhancing the user’s experience by making computing more personalized, efficient, and secure.
The Yoga Pro 9i Aura edition is equipped with the cutting-edge Intel Core Ultra processor alongside an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPU—the entry-level model in NVIDIA’s RTX 50 series. This combination ensures robust performance for various applications.
Stunning Display Features
Featuring a striking 16-inch 3.2K PureSight Pro display, the laptop boasts a dual-layer OLED pixel configuration that elevates brightness levels to an impressive peak of 1600 nits while also improving energy efficiency. The screen supports full coverage of sRGB, P3, and Adobe RGB color spaces for exceptional color fidelity that brings images and videos to life.
The Aura edition stays true to its lineage by including the Lenovo Creator Zone—a comprehensive on-device AI toolkit aimed at simplifying tasks for creators using third-party video editing, photography, and music production applications. Consumers can expect this remarkable offering to hit shelves in Q2 of 2025 with starting prices around $1,799.
New Addition: IdeaPad Slim 3x
In addition to the Yoga series launch, Lenovo revealed the new IdeaPad Slim 3x—a versatile Copilot+ PC powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X chip designed specifically to broaden access to Copilot+ functionality for users everywhere. This model excels in processing on-device AI tasks efficiently and features a convenient dedicated key that activates Microsoft’s Copilot assistant on-demand.
A notable aspect of this laptop is its expandable storage capability; it includes an open SSD slot that allows users to add an additional SSD as needed. The IdeaPad Slim 3x is anticipated to be available this month starting from $649.
