SEU Appoints New President

The present President of Sony Europe B.V. (SEU), Hideyuki Furumi, will retire from Sony at finish of March 2023 for the following chapter of his life. Masashi Takiguchi, present Head of Pan European Home Entertainment & Sound class and concurrent Deputy Head of Pan European Imaging Products & Solutions at SEU, will succeed Furumi because the President of SEU efficient 1^st April 2023.

Hideyuki Furumi has led Sony Europe as President since April 2019 and through his time he not solely strengthened its ET&S (Entertainment, Technology and Services) enterprise but in addition enhanced the Sony model in Europe by harnessing Sony Europe’s numerous companies and company features. Prior to Sony Europe President, he has held numerous world roles throughout Sales & Marketing, and UX / Product Strategy for a number of client product classes.

Masashi Takiguchi joined Sony in 1992 and since then has led numerous world gross sales and advertising and marketing roles together with Japan, Europe and US, driving enterprise success by his intensive expertise particularly within the client show merchandise space.
