Samsung Unveils Latest One UI 7 Beta for Galaxy S24 Series
Today, Samsung has commenced the distribution of the third public beta version of One UI 7, based on Android 15, specifically for its Galaxy S24 models including the S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra in Germany. This rollout is expected to expand to additional regions participating in the beta testing program over the coming days.
Enhancements and Fixes in the Latest Build
This new version introduces several improvements alongside critical security updates, including the January 2025 patch level. The update addresses various user experience issues; for instance, users will notice enhanced smoothness when scrolling vertically within the app drawer. Furthermore, problems related to saving MMS images in the Messages application have also been resolved.
The update also enhances responsiveness when closing Quick Panel menus and optimizes Now Bar placement. Users can expect better alignment with elements such as lock screen indicators and Always On Display icons. Additionally, editing functions on the lock screen have been streamlined to provide a more fluid experience.
Improvements Across Functionality
The latest build improves functionally across various features; notably, volume controls are operating correctly within Routine+. Edge Panel bugs have been addressed as well. Moreover, for gaming enthusiasts using Game Booster settings, maximum frame rates have now defaulted to an impressive 120 Hz.
