Purportedly, the 2-in-1 offers up to 20 hours of battery life via a 41.4 Wh battery, although we would take this with a pinch of salt. The Robo & Kala supports WiFi 6 connectivity too, as well as a detachable keyboard that connects over Bluetooth or pogo pins. The device can also magnetically recharge an active stylus, much like recent iPad Pros. Like the Surface Pro 9 5G, the Robo & Kala is fanless and contains two USB Type-C ports but lacks a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
Currently, the Robo & Kala is available to back on Kickstarter, starting at US$799 just as a tablet. The company also offers the 2-in-1 with a magnetic keyboard, an active stylus and a case for US$999 before shipping. Alternatively, the magnetic keyboard can be picked for US$99, while the active stylus costs US$59. In fact, it is cheaper to back the Robo & Kala with all accessories separately, which comes to US$976. At the time of publication, Robo & Kala hopes to start shipping its 2-in-1 to backers in February 2023.
