The Pixel 9a is expected to be unveiled by Google on March 19, which is also when pre-orders will start. The phone will then become available on March 26, according to past rumors.

Today a bunch of official Google cases for the Pixel 9a have leaked. The case colors will match the phone’s colors: Obsidian (black), Porcelain (white), Iris (purple), and Peony (pink).

The cases once again confirm the design change on the back, Google’s departure from using a ‘camera visor’. This time we’re only getting a camera island, and it’s off-center to the left.

Also today, legendary leaker Evan Blass shared the following image showing the front of the Pixel 9a. He has since deleted the image, possibly after legal threats from Google.

The image shows an ever so slightly thinner bottom bezel compared to the Pixel 8a, but overall the 9a’s bezels are still quite chunky for this day and age, mid-ranger as it may be.

The Pixel 9a is rumored to be powered by the Tensor G4 SoC, and it will allegedly have a 5,100 mAh battery, the largest ever put into a Pixel. It will also get a 6.28-inch OLED screen with 2,700-nit peak brightness, 8GB of RAM, a 48 MP main camera, and a 13 MP ultrawide.
