As of Wednesday, Netflix has implemented a highly anticipated Season Download option within its iPhone and iPad application. This new functionality allows users to efficiently download an entire season of their cherished series with just a click of the button.
To locate this fresh feature, navigate to the display page of any show. You will find the Season Download button conveniently positioned next to the Share icon.
Upon selection, all episodes from that particular season will commence automatic downloading. For managing your downloads or deleting episodes you’ve already seen, you can visit the Downloads section found under My Netflix.
Though many users prefer streaming content directly online, having full seasons available offline proves invaluable during extensive travels where internet access may be sporadic—think long flights or road trips where Wi-Fi isn’t guaranteed.
This updated Netflix app necessitates an iPhone running on at least iOS 17.0 or an iPad using at least iPadOS 17.0. Additionally, subscribers can also enjoy Netflix services via Apple TV devices.
