Dominating the Market
BYD continues to lead the electric vehicle market with unmatched sales numbers in the plug-in segment globally. In a surprising move to elevate its offerings even further, BYD has introduced an updated model of its Yuan Plus.
Innovative Features and Pricing Structure
The enhanced version of Yuan Plus—known as Atto 3 outside China—brings a remarkable package of features at a competitive starting price of 115,800 yuan ($15,970). Notably, this is a reduction of 1,000 yuan compared to last year’s pricing.
This model boasts some impressive upgrades: it now includes an onboard refrigerator and advanced driver-assist technology named God’s Eye C. Additionally, novelties like a head-up display and driver monitoring camera highlight BYD’s commitment to safety and technology integration. A wireless charging pad (50W) ensures that keeping devices powered on-the-go is more convenient than ever.
Trim Levels and Pricing Adjustments
The new configuration features five distinct trim levels with introductory prices spanning from 115,800 yuan to 145,800 yuan ($20,107). This adjustment means that while entry-level pricing saw a decrease by 1K, premium trims experienced an increment also by 1K.
