Sophisticated Navigation System
Lymow’s LySee Multi-Fusion system combines Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) satellite positioning with Visual Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (VSLAM) technology to maintain centimeter-level accuracy regarding its location. Although RTK signals may be impacted by environmental obstacles such as trees or inclement weather, VSLAM provides alternative navigation when satellite access is compromised.
Obstacle Detection and Safety Features
The VSLAM technology utilizes stereo cameras featuring image-based semantic recognition alongside depth-sensing capabilities to interpret its environment rapidly. Additionally, it comes equipped with onboard processing abilities that allow it to navigate around hurdles like pet waste or garden decorations by utilizing predefined settings available within the accompanying Lymow application.
A Robust Safety Mechanism
In terms of safety features, five ultrasonic sensors are embedded along with two protective front bumpers plus off-ground sensors located at the blade level—all aimed at ensuring safe operation during mowing activities. The machine can instantly halt its blades upon detecting potential hazards within just one second.
