Meta Launches Edits: A New Video Editing Tool Amidst Recent App Bans
In a landscape shaped by recent app bans, it’s not just TikTok facing restrictions in the United States. The widely used video editing application CapCut, developed by ByteDance, has also been rendered unavailable. Seizing this opportunity, Meta swiftly introduced its own free video editing application for creators called Edits.
This innovative app is currently available for pre-order in the US App Store and is anticipated to launch next month. Furthermore, Instagram’s head executive Adam Mosseri has indicated that an Android version of Edits is “on the way.”
