Unveiling the Galaxy S25 Edge: Samsung’s Surprising Highlight at Unpacked
During Samsung’s recent Unpacked event, a much–anticipated reveal took place: the Galaxy S25 Edge. Initially labeled as the Galaxy S25 Slim, this new smartphone was not formally introduced on stage but rather teased for tech enthusiasts in attendance.
A report citing an anonymous Samsung spokesperson indicated that the Galaxy S25 Edge is slated for release “around April.” This timeline aligns reasonably well with earlier speculations suggesting a launch by May at the latest.
The standout feature of the Galaxy S25 Edge appears to be its exceptional slimness, with rumors hinting at a thickness of just 6.4mm. Although this figure has yet to be officially verified, company representatives have described it as being “approximately” 6mm thick.
In terms of dimensions, it is anticipated that the Edge will closely resemble the Galaxy S25+, but what sets it apart is its lightweight design—primarily owing to its reduced battery size compared to its counterparts. The phone will sport only two rear-facing cameras, contributing further to its sleek profile and lightweight construction.
