Anticipated Features of the Oppo Find X8 Mini
The upcoming Oppo Find X8 Mini is reportedly set to launch in conjunction with the Find X8 Ultra, with a release window slated for March or April. Inspired by the favorable reception of the vivo X200 Pro mini, early speculations suggest that this compact smartphone will have an estimated weight lying between 180g and 189g.
Sleek Design and Dimensions
Initial reports emphasize its impressively slim profile. A recent update from Chinese sources has further refined our expectations regarding its thickness, indicating it will begin with a measurement of around 7mm, making it fall within the range of 7mm to 7.99mm. For context, Samsung’s Galaxy S25 measures approximately 7.2mm thick; thus, we can conclude that the Find X8 Mini could be nearly a millimeter slimmer than the aforementioned vivo model.
Camera Capabilities
While it may not rival flagship models such as the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge or iPhone 17 Air in terms of brand prestige, usability-wise, it’s anticipated to meet many users’ needs comfortably. The device is expected to feature an advanced camera system comprising a primary rear camera boasting 50 MP resolution supported by a sizable 1/1.56” sensor and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), alongside an additional ultrawide lens and periscope-style camera—both also at an impressive resolution of 50 MP—with capabilities for up to 3.5x optical zoom.
Display and Performance Specifications
The display technology employed by the Find X8 Mini is set to be equally striking: a flat LTPO OLED screen measuring at around 6.3 inches while offering vibrant visuals due to its resolution of about 1,216 x 2,640 pixels combined with a remarkable refresh rate of up to 120Hz for seamless navigation experiences. An optical fingerprint scanner embedded underneath will enhance user convenience as well.
At its core lies MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 SoC which promises robust performance suited for contemporary demands. Interestingly enough, there are rumors suggesting that OnePlus might roll out their variant under another branding shortly after Oppo’s official introduction.
