Oppo Set to Unveil the Find X8 Ultra and More Next Month
Next month, Oppo will introduce the much-anticipated Find X8 Ultra, alongside two additional smartphones. The device previously identified as the Find X8 Mini has now been rebranded as the Find X8S; this title change aims to prepare consumers for the upcoming smaller display on its successor, the Find X9.
Meet the New Lineup: Find X8S and Find X8S+
The newly announced lineup also includes the enhanced Find X8S+, featuring a 6.6-inch display. Both models will be equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ System on Chip (SoC), which is set for an official unveiling on April 11.
Specifications of the Range
According to recent reports, the Find X8S will offer impressive 80W wired charging capabilities. It is expected to feature a periscope telephoto camera along with support for wireless charging and robust water-dust resistance ratings. Meanwhile, users can expect similar specifications from the larger Find X8S+, but housed in a bigger form factor.
The battery of the new Find X8S is rumored to exceed 5,700 mAh capacity, maintain a slim profile with a thickness just above 7mm, and weigh around 187g. Its flat-screen design will boast impressively narrow bezels measuring less than 1.38mm.
A Closer Look at Finding Excellence: The Ultra Edition
The flagship model, find dubbed as ”Find X8 Ultra,” has already been confirmed to feature a stunning “2K” resolution flat screen that showcases ultra-slim symmetrical bezels around all sides. Additional high-end specifications include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and dual periscope telephoto cameras—one providing three times optical zoom while another delivers six times optical zoom capability. With an approximate profile thickness of just over 8 mm, it will sport an aesthetically pleasing faux leather finish along with customized vibration feedback technology. Notably, its battery capacity is projected to surpass an impressive 6,000 mAh.
