Galaxy S25 Edge delay pushes launch to May – Phandroid

The Galaxy S25 Edge delay is official. Samsungs ultra-thin flagship won’t launch in April as earlier leaks suggested. Instead, Samsung has pushed the release to May 13, 2025, according to a report from SamMobile.

Samsung won’t go big with this one. Unlike the splashy Unpacked event for the main S25 lineup, the Galaxy S25 Edge will debut at a quieter online-only event. That could change depending on the region, but for now, expect something more low-key. Retail availability is still up in the air — no confirmation yet on when it’ll hit store shelves.

The Galaxy S25 Edge looks solid in terms of specs. It’s expected to pack a 6.7-inch display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, 12GB of RAM, and storage options of 256GB or 512GB. Leaks also show it’ll come in three colors: Titanium Silver, Titanium Jetblack, and Titanium Icy Blue.

Pricing? Reports suggest around 1,249 euros—just above the S25+, which is 1,149 euros. Samsung is reportedly prepping around 3 million units, but it remains to be seen how well the Galaxy S25 Edge will sell once it lands.
