Introducing LG’s 2025 OLED evo TV Series at CES
At this year’s CES, LG has introduced its cutting-edge OLED evo television series for 2025, showcasing not only these new models but also a broad spectrum of home entertainment innovations. These TVs are powered by the advanced α (Alpha) 11 AI processor Gen2, which employs sophisticated deep learning algorithms designed to enhance the clarity of low-resolution and lower-quality visuals. Impressively, LG claims that this new lineup is the first in the industry to offer a stunning combination of 4K resolution with a rapid refresh rate of 165Hz—certified by both NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium. This powerful combination promises smooth gameplay with virtually no input lag.
Pioneering Brightness and Black Levels
A major upgrade in these OLED models is found in LG’s Brightness Booster Ultimate technology, allowing them to achieve brightness levels three times greater than standard OLEDs. When it comes to darker scenes, users can expect remarkable black depths thanks to UL Solutions’ verification for “Perfect Black” and “Perfect Color.” Notably, LG has been leading the charge since obtaining Perfect Black certification in 2022, confirming that viewers can enjoy true blacks on their screens whenever required.

Enhanced Viewing Experience
The televisions feature rapid brightness stabilization and color temperature adjustment technology that guarantees an optimized viewing experience right from power-on. Additionally, when viewers switch to film mode, the Filmmaker Mode coupled with Ambient Light Compensation automatically adjusts picture settings based on surrounding light conditions—ensuring fidelity to the filmmaker’s vision.
Immersive Audio Features
Audiovisual performance takes another leap forward with AI Sound Pro technologies incorporated into these TVs delivering an impressive 11.1.2 channel surround sound experience. The intelligent AI Remote distinctly identifies individual voices for personalized recommendations while utilizing AI Search powered by Microsoft Copilot; enabling nuanced understanding of conversational queries for tailored results.
The Revolutionary M5 Series
The standout model from LG’s latest offerings is undoubtedly the M5 series—the next generation succeeding previous M-series versions known for their capability to wirelessly transmit high-definition audio and video content. These newly introduced M5 TVs support wireless transmission at up to 144Hz without any sacrifices in visual quality or detail retention; although they do have a slightly reduced refresh rate compared to others within this lineup. Regardless, users are promised an uninterrupted gaming experience devoid of tearing or stuttering issues.
This innovative technology isn’t confined solely to high-end models anymore; as reported last December, LG announced compatibility between its more budget-friendly QNED TVs and Zero Connect Box—a feature previously exclusive only during larger screen sizes starting from 77 inches within their premium offerings.
