Experience Gaming Like Never Before: GeForce Now Launches on Apple Vision Pro!

GeForce Now set to⁣ launch on Apple ‍Vision Pro

Nvidia is⁢ broadening its GeForce Now gaming streaming service by⁤ adding compatibility with more platforms, including the Meta Quest 3, ⁣3S, Pico, and ‌notably, the Apple Vision Pro.

On Tuesday, Nvidia revealed that users ⁢with specific VR ‍headset⁤ models ‍will soon have the ability⁢ to stream games ‍directly⁤ onto their devices. The Apple Vision Pro‍ is included in this list of supported headsets.

However, it’s important to clarify that this doesn’t allow for streaming of VR-specific titles. ‌Instead, users will engage with games in an Apple Vision Pro environment.

This experience allows players to enjoy their beloved games on a ⁤virtual screen ‍that simulates being 100 feet wide. To benefit from⁣ this feature, ⁣a GeForce Now ⁢account is required along with accessing⁣ the service‌ through an internet‍ browser.

GeForce Now provides several⁣ subscription options. A free tier exists which⁤ includes ⁤advertisements and provides an opportunity for users to experience⁤ the platform⁤ without financial obligation. Beyond that are ⁤paid formats: the Performance tier for $9.99 per month or $49.99 every six months and the Ultimate tier at $19.99 monthly or $99.99 biannually.

Higher-level subscriptions offer ⁣enhanced advantages such as access to ⁢a broader selection of games, extended session durations, and expedited queuing times. Users will also benefit from streaming capabilities via superior hardware configurations.

While there isn’t a definitive launch date⁤ announced for this functionality yet, Nvidia‌ indicates that gamers⁢ can begin streaming ⁤content through their headsets once app update version 2.0.70 goes‍ live later ⁢in January.

Although playing GeForce⁢ Now titles on macOS⁤ has been possible since ⁢2021, native support‍ for Macs powered by Apple Silicon⁣ was ⁣introduced ⁤in April 2022.

The platform made its debut on iOS and iPadOS back in November 2020; it was particularly notable as it provided players⁤ access to Fortnite after its removal from Apple’s store due to Epic’s attempts at circumventing its ‍commission fees in June 2020.
