Recent leaks have unveiled initial designs of Samsung’s highly anticipated Galaxy A26, which recently gained certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards. This development confirms its impending launch in the Indian market.
The model specifically intended for consumers in India has been designated as SM-A266B/DS and boasts dual-SIM functionality. Sources suggest that, similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy A25, it will be equipped with Samsung’s Exynos 1280 system-on-chip (SoC).
Display and Design Enhancements
The upcoming model is expected to feature a slightly larger display at 6.64 inches, offering FHD+ resolution complemented by a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate. With advancements in screen technology, users can expect vibrant visuals and better responsiveness compared to previous models.
Performance Upgrades
With configurations allowing up to 8GB of RAM paired with storage options reaching up to 256GB, the Galaxy A26 aims to meet diverse user needs effectively. While it seems that battery specifications will remain consistent with earlier versions, its overall dimensions are projected at approximately 164 x 77.5 x 7.7 mm.
