Frost Fatales: A Week of Charity Speedrunning for Women’s Rights
The much-anticipated charity speedrunning event, organized by Games Done Quick (GDQ), is set to commence this weekend. Frost Fatales, a notable occasion that highlights the contributions of women and femmes in gaming, will take place from March 9 to 16, with proceeds benefiting the National Women’s Law Center, a nonprofit advocating for gender equity.
This winter gathering is part of GDQ’s Frame Fatales community and complements its summer counterpart, Flame Fatales. Last year’s Frost Fatales event was incredibly successful, raising $155,000 for the same organization dedicated to promoting gender justice on issues vital to women and girls. Since its inception in 2019, Frame Fatales events have collectively contributed over $1 million to charitable causes through biannual speeding marathons.
