On Friday, Apple unveiled the inaugural developer beta of iOS 18.4, identified by build number 22E5200s. This release follows the rollout of iOS 18.3.1 to users just over a week prior.
While early predictions suggested significant improvements for Siri within this update, it seems that these anticipated enhancements have been postponed. Instead, the focus shifts to beneficial advancements in Apple Intelligence and its associated features among other updates.

Localization and Notification Features
Initially, Apple’s generative AI capabilities were exclusive to US English speakers; however, the iOS 18.2 update expanded these offerings by including various regional dialects of English as well as adding support for localized English variants in countries like India and Singapore with the latest developer beta.
Additionally, this release introduces compatibility with eight new languages: Chinese (Simplified), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, and Spanish—currently exclusive to developers but expected to be available for public use by April.
Moreover, Apple Intelligence received further upgrades including an innovative Sketch style feature within Image Playground and a new function dubbed “Priority Notifications.” This feature streamlines essential alerts into a distinct section on the iOS Lock Screen.
Managing Notifications Efficiently
Users can easily toggle Priority Notifications through their Settings app under Notifications by selecting “Prioritize Notifications.” This functionality aims to assist individuals in managing their alerts more effectively by emphasizing what Apple’s AI identifies as critical notifications.
A New Application for Apple Vision Pro
This latest update also launches an exclusive “Apple Vision Pro” app automatically appearing for users who possess this headset after logging into their Apple Account using it; it remains accessible as a free download from the App Store as well.
